The STOXX 600 is trading at its highest level since March 26 on Friday as equity markets continue to recover from the tariff-induced sell-off six weeks ago.
The pan-continental benchmark SXXP is up 0.7% on the day, taking its weekly rise to over 2%, and on track for its fifth straight weekly rise.
Other major bourses are also higher. Germany's DAX is adding 0.7%, France's CAC is up 0.6% and Britain's FTSE 100 is rising 0.4%.
Switzerland's SMI outperforms, up 0.9%, helped by a rise in healthcare stocks and a 5% jump in luxury group Richemont after the Cartier owner reported a better-than-expected 7% rise in quarterly sales.
