The Hang Seng climbed 233 points, or 0.9%, to close at 25,469 on Wednesday, snapping two straight sessions of sharp falls as gains spread across all sectors.
The index rebounded from a near four-week low, supported by bargain hunting after recent losses.
Mainland markets also recovered, helped by renewed strength in tech shares, which lifted sentiment across the region.
Meantime, analysts at Goldman Sachs said Chinese equities could rise about 30% by the end of 2027, citing continued pro-market policies, improving corporate earnings, and sustained capital inflows.
The Hang Seng Tech Index outperformed, rising 1.0%, after another eye-catching debut by chipmaker MetaX Integrated Circuits Shanghai, whose shares surged about 755% after raising around USD 585.8 million in its initial public offering.
Still, gains were capped by caution ahead of Hong Kong's November inflation data due next week.
Pop Mart Intl. jumped 3.7%, and Trip.com added 2.6%, while SMIC and Meituan rose 2.4%, each.
